The Solid State Logic Connex is a high-quality USB microphone equipped with SSL's famed DSP technology as well as four capsules that can be configured in four different ways. Depending on the selected mode, the fitted LED indicator changes colour. Here, white marks Solo Mode: an extremely focussed setting that keeps ambient noise at bay during conference calls and podcasts. Meanwhile, green represents Group Mode which activates an omnidirectional pickup pattern for sound-capture from all directions, and magenta indicates Vocal Mode which engages all four built-in microphones for focussed stereo sound. Lastly, there's blue for Music Mode: a stereo sound setting that's been specifically calibrated for musicians and comes with reduced sensitivity so you can record louder instruments without any distortion. Want to take individual control over the four built-in microphones for extra-captivating sound? Simply activate Immersive Mode after selecting one of the four user modes.
